Erving residents to vote on expanding Center Cemetery

ERVING, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — At Wednesday’s Annual Town Meeting in Erving, residents will vote on beginning to use the Other Post-Employee Benefits (OPEB) Trust Fund to pay retiree benefits, a new part of the budget for fiscal year 2027. This year, $400,000 would be coming out of the Trust Fund to pay out benefits.

Another article is seeking to borrow $1.1 million for the expansion of the Center Cemetery in Erving Center, which currently has seven plots available.
